Holiday Weekend

Tuesday last week was a public holiday, so Daddy took off Monday and we enjoyed a four-day weekend together.  On Monday we went to Botanical Gardens near our house and had a great time enjoying the beauty of creation.  The foliage has not fully emerged from the winter, but there was a nice waterfall with some black eagles, and we did a lot of walking and some birdwatching. 

 

On Tuesday we went to Zoo Lake in Johannesburg.  We enjoyed a picnic lunch, the boys enjoyed a great playground, and we took a walk around the lake.
